We are a husband & wife ( Colin & Elaine) craft business. Providing eco friendly wooden gifts in reclaimed timbers,
and embroidered baby blankets. We are very much a team. Prideing ourselves on our ability to rovide excellent quality without
harming the environment. Our handcrafted gifts include dragons puzzles, gravity defying wine bottle holders and brain teaser
puzzles. We also have a great range in baby blankets, table runners, and ladies accessories (scarves wraps). Colin is
a tool maker and engineer by trade, which gives him that ability to produce fine quality item, with a proffessional finish.
He has a keen eye for detail and a love of wood. I my self come from a long line of seamstress@ and taylors. Although
I did not like needlework of any description when at school, my groundeing in the art and family tradition as finally come
through.
SPECIAL PROJECTS
Over the last year we have done some special commission projects.
MEMORY BOXES :-
Colin was asked to build some memory boxes in kit form. These were for the local cancer care trust.
He cut and sanded all the sides and bases in wood. Then put together a pack of pins,glue etc so the clents could
build them. I then provided packs of fabrics, fabric pens, glitter, sequins tassles and ribbons. These were to
be used to decorate the boxes. So far 20 have been completed and the clients have all been very pleased.
OVER SIZED SOLITARE BOARD:
Colin was asked to make a solitaire board with a extra large holes for the marbles and a much larger space between the
marbles. This was for a lady who was 100 yrs old. She could not find a board that her arthritic fingers could
cope with. Increasing the spaceing made it easier for her. Using larger marbles also made the game she loved accessable
to her again.
